Ammonium nitrate is a white crystalline solid. It is highly soluble in water and hygroscopic as a solid. It is predominantly used in agriculture as a high-nitrogen fertilizer (NPK 34-0-0) and as a component of explosives (mining, quarrying metal mining and civil constructrion) and pyrotechnics. Pure ammonium nitrate does not burn, but as a strong oxidizer, it supports and accelerates the combustion of organic (and some inorganic) material. It should not be stored near combustible substances.
Balanced Nitrogen Nutrition
Provides dual-form nitrogen—fast-acting nitrate for immediate uptake and ammonium for sustained growth—ensuring crops receive consistent nutrition throughout key growth stages.
Rapid Uptake & Uniform Delivery
Highly soluble granules dissolve quickly in soil moisture, enabling efficient nitrogen absorption and uniform distribution, ideal for broadcasting, top-dressing, and fertigation.
Enhanced Crop Performance
Supports vigorous vegetative growth, strong root development, improved protein synthesis, and higher yields in cereals, vegetables, fruit crops, and forage systems.
Soil Fertility & Sustainability
Near-neutral pH response maintains soil health, encourages microbial activity, and complements integrated nutrient management programs for sustainable cropping.
Easy Handling & Reliable Storage
Uniform granules reduce dust and caking, simplify storage and transport, and improve spreading efficiency in the field.
